Heartsong

Singer/Songwriters, Ed and Gaia Tossing, also known as Heartsong, have appeared with such luminaries as Marianne Williamson, Wayne Dyer, Jack Canfield, Louise Hay, Alan Cohen, John Robbins, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Jean Houston, and Al Gore at national conferences. They have written and performed anthem songs for many inspiring events and movements including the Human Unity Conference, Whole Earth Expo, First Soviet-American Citizens’ Summit, Bicentennial Celebration of the Constitution, and Initiative to Defeat Stigma. With their initial spiritual pop release, “White Light,” they tour Unity and Religious Science Centers around the country and have been in the New Thought Movement for over 30 years. Heartsong’s message is one of inspiration, motivation, and celebration. In addition, Ed and Gaia have produced three Emmy Award Winning Children’s TV Specials for PBS.

As a studio keyboardist, Ed has performed on recordings for Barbara Streisand, Harry Nilsson, Dennis DeYoung, Jerry Butler, Ides of March, David Pomeranz, Jim Scott, and many others. TV Specials include Peter Cetera, Burt Bachrach, Ron Isley, and Jewel. Ed’s arranging credits can be found on two platinum sellers “Paradise Theatre” and “Cornerstone,” by Styx and “Designer’s Original” by gospel great, Dannibelle Hall, as well as many tracks with writer, Karen Taylor-Good. Tossing’s song “Wake Up and Dream” (co-written with Thom Bishop) won HBO’s Most Inspiring Song of the Year. He served as music director for the hit musical “I’m Getting My Act Together And Taking It On The Road” and provided the music ministry for Unity In Chicago for sixteen years.

As a performer, Gaia, combines her singing with the beauty of American Sign Language. She has written and produced a multi-award winning line of DVDs, CDs, and Sign Illustrated Songbooks that teach sign language with songs. She has been featured on PBS, CNN, WGN-TV and The Learning Channel and is a frequent keynote speaker to teachers’ associations and a popular concert presenter at family events. Her on-camera performance in “Sing, Dance, ‘n Sign” garnered an EMMY. She is an ambassador for the “Initiative to Defeat Stigma.” In addition, Gaia is a certified instructor with the Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education.

White Light
