Late in 2008 Gene got an email announcing services at MCCSL and a couple of weeks later on a whim decided to stop. He says, "I walked in, saw some old friends, and after the service I realized that this was something I wanted to be a part of." He now serves as treasurer for the Board of Trustees.

Gene has worked in the film and video industry for the past 25+ years in graphics production, as a director of photography, and as a producer/director. He has documented stories of many things from oil production to near death experiences and angel encounters, and in many places from Nepal to Zimbabwe.

Betty is a native Nashvillian living in the area for all of her life. She is a registered nurse by profession and has worked in multiple areas of the Health Care industry throughout her career. She was introduced to Religious Science approximately twenty three years ago when invited by a friend to a study group of the Science of Mind. As soon as she heard what was presented, she was at home, this is how she had always believed God presented in our lives. Betty serves as Secretary on the board at MCCSL.
